  • Biceps and Shoulders on a Physio ball - Have you watched the tutorial on how to balance on your knees on a physio ball? Take it to the next level by getting on your knees on a physio ball and lifting weights.  

  • Bodyweight lunge progression - Lunging is a fundamental exercise that develops balance and strength IF you perform your lunges safely and effectively. Here is how to do them properly with a challenging progression.

  • One Arm Cable Rows - As part of the new functional training trend cables have become de rigeur for all free weight and body building exercises. Here's how to perform one arm cable rows.  

  • Advanced Romanian Deadlift - Once you have mastered the Romanian Deadlift with a barbell it is time to move on and use dumbbells and one arm. Here is how to take a basic exercise and make it really challenging.  

  • How to use a physio ball for ABS - Here is a simple progression for abs using the physio ball. I use this progression supersetted with the lower back progression almost every day with my clients.

  • How to balance on a physio ball - PLEASE do not try this unless you are extremely advanced. This is potentially a very dangerous exercise with no direct and immediate benefits. However you must master this level of balance if you would like to perform some of the more advanced dumbbell exercises.  

  • How to use tubing for chest and back - This video demonstrates how to use a band (tubing) to get a good lat and chest workout. It favors the chest showing only one back excercise (I call it the lat slap) but will suffice as a mini workout.

  • How to Bench Press a Barbell - You must learn how to Bench Press if you have any hope of successful strength training or bodybuilding.

  • How to Row a Barbell - This is critical for development of back strength and power. One of my top 10 favorite exercises.  

  • How to Deadlift Stifflegged - The Romanian Deadlift or Stiff Legged Deadlift is critical for development of hamstring and glute power and strength. This video demonstrates proper technique.

  • How to Squat - Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Presses, and Rows... these are the movements that make a body strong and powerful. Here is how to properly Squat.  

  • Box Bounding - Jumping is one of the best ways to develop power in your legs. Here is how to take a simple box and use it to explode your leg power.   

  • Bulgarian Squat - The bulgarian squat is essentially a one legged squat with your rear foot elevated. This simple demo will show you how to perform this exercise. This is easily one of the best glute exercises you can do.  

  • How to work chest and tri's on a physio ball - Need a new way to work your chest and triceps? Use a physio ball and dumbbells. Here's how.  

  • THE DEADMILL PUSH - Easily the most brutal exercise in the library. 30 seconds of pure torture. If you can handle it (without throwing up) it will make you FAST AND STRONG.  

  • Glute Progression on a physio ball - Learning how to flex your glutes for stability is a crucial element in developing balanced strength in your hips. You can incorporate this simple three part progression into any routine. 

  • 8 Count Bodybuilders - Want a fast effective way to build your body using NO equipment? Try three sets of 10 8 count bodybuilders...BRUTAL.  

  • Lateral Shuffle - Another 30 second burner. Set up two cones and do a little two step shuffle. Excellent for developing lateral speed and stability.  

  • How to work your lower back - Working on spinal erectors (the lower back muscles) is a great way to balance out all those crunches you are doing. Here is a simple progression you can incorporate into any abdominal routine for supersets or active rest.

  • Medicine Ball throws and twists - You have seen those medicine balls around your gym but do you know what to do with them? Here is an excellent progression targeting abs, obliques, low back, and hips in a compact, intense and efficient workout. 

  • High Cable Row - Simple elegant move for Lats using the stability components of standing, squatting and lunging.  

  • Low Cable Row - There really is only one position for the Low Cable Row and it is succinctly described here. Think of it as a bent row with a cable.  

  • Biceps Curl Plus - Dumbbell biceps curl...BORING. Why not add balance and motion components to your dumbbell exercises to increase calorie consumption and develop stability? I will show you how in less than 1 minute.  

  • How to use a physio ball and medicine ball for ABS - Once you have mastered the balance on a physio ball for abdominals it is time to start using a medicine ball to make it more challenging...and more productive!  

  • Physio Ball Preacher Curl - The title says it all. Here is a new twist on an ancient exercise.  

  • How to use a physio ball for pushups - Pushups can be hard all by themselves, but when you have developed the strength to knock out 25 or more per set it is time to up the ante. Here is how to use a physio ball to add a great challenge to your pushup routine.   

  • Renegade! - The renegade is a brutal and difficult CORE exercise. It might look like a pushup combined with a one arm dumbbell row but it really attacks your trunk. NOT for everyone but really great IF you can master it.  

  • How to Perform a reverse cable fly - The reverse or superset of a cable fly for chest is a reverse cable fly. This is an excellent superset (and a much better choice than lat pulldowns) for all chest press motions and flys.  

  • How to use cables for chest fly - This one seems pretty basic and self explanatory but just so we are all on the same page...Here is how to perform the cable fly for chest from 3 different angles.  

  • Standing Cable Row - 20 seconds and you might just have a new exercise to add to your library. Stand up and pull. Pretty basic.  

  • The Startup - This is easily one of the most brutal exercises in the library. Usually done for 10 each side it incorporates balance, strength, and power. It will spike your heart rate and earn your hatred (of me most likely). Brutal idea: Try this with Deadmill push, Renegade, and 8 count bodybuilders.  

  • The Switch Lunge - The switch lunge is an excellent exercise to use as active rest. Try throwing down some of these in between your sets of bench press. You will raise your heart rate and burn tons of extra calories.  

  • The Matrix - This is on par with some of the more horrible and painful exercises in the library. But NOTHING is more efficient. The Matrix is designed to hit all muscles in all planes and challenge your sprint ability. You will be heaving after three sets of this. Warning: This is an extremely advanced exercise. Do NOT attempt if you have any unresolved back issues. NOT a beginner exercise.  

  • Biceps Curl Plus 2 - Here is another way to cure the dumbbell biceps curl blues. Don't just stand there...challenge yourself. This one is advanced and adds a great level of difficulty to any biceps curl.  

  • Dumbbell Combo - Here is a simple yet effective dumbbell combination for glutes, hams, and shoulders and biceps.
