Caroline Kohles is a black belt
in Nia, a master teacher, professional dancer, and movement specialist,
who believes to move well is to be free. She brings joy and exuberance
to her classes. Caroline co-founded Nia New York in 1996 with Megan
MacArthur. Caroline currently teaches in dance studios and in New York
City's leading fitness clubs, as well as presenting at conferences and
holding master classes around the country.
She is an innovator in
mind/body fitness and, in addition to teaching Nia, working with
performers, and training private clients, she has created classes that
blend relaxation and improvisation: Meditative Moves, Inner Dance, and
