Dan Huff is the owner and Head
Strength Coach of Baseball Strength and Huff Training. We got to sit
down with Dan and discuss what his beliefs are and how he and his team
go about coaching High School and College athletes up to their next
level of personal excellence. Our talk ranges from very specific
thoughts about resistance training and what to do vs. what not to do,
all the way to drug use and how we feel about it. Check it out and then
stop by his site to sign up for his baseball training course.
Coach Dan has been
involved in organized sports from the beginning either as an athlete,
coach, official, trainer, or strength and conditioning specialist. This
life-long love affair with sports naturally led into a career in Health
and Fitness.
He attended William Paterson University to obtain his degree in
Exercise Physiology, and has passed the National Strength and
Conditioning Associations (NSCA) test to become a Certified Strength
and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
He is currently the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Fairleigh
Dickinson University where he develops and implements strength and
conditioning programs for all NCAA Division 1 athletes and works with
the sports medicine department. He is also responsible for overseeing
all aspects of fitness center operation.
